B.S. Program

The Department of Biology offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, with a major in Aquatic Biology. It is designed to introduce students to the science of aquatic biology at the community, organismal and cellular level, as well as instill student with sufficient background and knowledge in complementary fields to function effectively in the field of aquatic biology, including the laboratory and field level. It also will provide the basis for study and research at the graduate level, should the student choose to pursue an advanced degree.
