FacultyThe faculty of the Department of Biology represent a range of disciplines and subject areas, most of which are complementary to the structure and goals of Texas State’s aquatic science program. In addition to the faculty directly involved in the Undergraduate Aquatic Biology and Graduate Aquatic Resources programs, the Department of Biology has exceptional undergraduate and graduate faculty involved in other areas of emphasis, including Botany, Cell Biology and Genetics, Ecology, Microbiology, Physiology, Science Education, Wildlife Biology, and Zoology. Faculty members from the Departments of Agriculture, Chemistry, English, Finanice & Economics, Health Services Research, Geography, Philosophy and Political Science also are involved in presenting various components of the doctoral curriculum.
